During a lesson, prop your phone up so the camera can see your paper. After each step's video, tacts compares what it sees with how that step should look, and moves on when your fold matches. The checking runs on your phone; the camera picture isn't uploaded. You can also turn the camera off and tap through the steps yourself.
Once per step, "I'm stuck" can send one photo of your paper to Google Gemini for a written tip. tacts asks your permission first, and you can switch it off anytime in Profile → AI help.
tacts asks for the camera only when you start a camera lesson. If you said no, turn it on in your phone's Settings → tacts → Camera, or keep folding without the camera.
No, as long as you're signed in. Your streak, badges and lessons are saved to your account. Progress you made as a guest is added to your account when you sign in.
Tap the ⋯ menu on the post, comment, lesson or profile and choose Report. You can also block people from there. We review reports within 24 hours. For copyright complaints, email us with a link or description of the content.
